i am having a cobra starship day hahaha!
so i haven't updated in quite a while, and i'm going to condense a bunch of newsworthy events into one blog:
1) WARPEDTOUR2009WASAMAZING!!!
[although i'm quite mad at All Time Low for not playing Holly(Would You Turn Me On?)]
2) everyone whose company i enjoy has been out of town.. this entire month. ugh.
3) my mom left us to go to england to see them family for 2 weeks and brought back a shitload of our favorite candies and crisps and things.
4) i eat seafood? lol that's kind of old but it still amazes me that my parents got over the whole shellfish not being kosher thing.
5) i have not spent a friday night at home for over a month... i feel like such a fruma, going from house to house for shabbat dinners in fancy clothes and being all formal. haha we never have shabbat dinner at home
6) Megan Wants A Millionaire... oh my god. amazing. hahaha my dad loves it and so do i!
7) I can't find a good version of The Maine singing Pour Some Sugar On Me... because nobody's leaked it on the internet yet lol
8) i'm going to see Blink 182!!!!
9) I'm going to see Paolo Nutini!!!
10) I'm going to see All Time Low and We The Kings with my cousin from england!!!!
11) I'm going to see Cobra Starship!!!!

okay, so it's been a few days shy of a month since my last post. i'm sorry noa!!! (she's my only reader, go figure)
i have so much to update you on although you probably know the basic details of it all:
1)i am dating someone. you know who it is
2)sophie told me that kevin told her about it. grrr. he's getting on my last nerve over here.
3)i watched star wars!! (it wasn't that great lol)
4) i ALSO so half blood prince at the midnight release, and two of my arch enemies were sitting behind me
5)my cousin holden is in town which i'm excited about but it is now stopping me from hanging with said boyfriend, which is pissing me off...... wow i actually like my boyfriend! haha
6) i blocked sophie on facebook because she's a bitch. lol don't show her this.
7) i just sat on my ankle and when i got up i somehow ripped all the way up the bottom of my favorite old jeans :((
8) i just became re-friendly with someone i never bothered to talk to before
9) my mom is in england for 2 weeks and she left us here with the man who is engaged in a war on misplaced shoes and cluttered shit. i'm already grounded for these 2 weeks. lol
and yeah that's a small summary in a list format. god i miss margolin so much haha

Querida Noa,
this is a sucktastic day...... I mean, i'm a nerdfighter..... i battle to decrease world suck! but somehow, i think today has just been the suckiest day in the world. lol
first of all there was the embarrassing incident mentioned in today's previous blog posted by yours truly.
numero does, i am undeniably sick.
roman numeral 3: geek squad is now delaying the return of my laptop due to how they "do not have the parts" needed to repair the shattered screen and sticky mousepad which sounds like a lame excuse that has been used before. oh yeah... i think some murderous doctor who repair droids said just about the same thing to justify why they wanted to cut off reinette's head. hmm. and just like my computer being returned to me in the estimated and highly anticipated amount of time, the head cutting never happened. haha.
and NOW i have discovered that i am unable to leave the house because some italian business partners of my father's have come to visit and i am being shut away upstairs so as not to infect these peaceful pasta-loving people (yesss go ahead and say that five times fast!)
pero finalmente, i have just learned that my dear old friend Ian is with my dear (recently discovered to be douchebaggy) fiancee Josh. said fiancee has not only been ignoring the 6 texts i sent him since school ended, but said dear old friend actually promised, as i was driving him home from the chili cookdown, that he would call me and come pick me up if he was hanging out with said fiancee. but the one thing that is really bugging me right now is that said fiancee has been actively alive all summer and attended various parties and bbyo events- yet he can't even bother to tell ME something small, like that he got his wisdom teeth removed (even though he did tell some insignificant freshman girl on facebook)!
the point is, his being douchebaggy is not the problem. but his suddenly being douchebaggy after carly told him everyone knows he likes me IS the problem because that is just immature and i do NOT appreciate it. i thought we were becoming friends but he suddenly turns into mr major douche? yes, that bothers me a lot. grrrr. i thought he was different than the many jerkoffs in gcr bbyo.
and THAT is why i am majorly pissed at not just someone, but multiple people.

baking in the backyard
so today is my day off and i have miraculously been re-infected with the cold virus. yay me!
woke up with the usually head cold, aches and pains, stuffy sinuses, and it was only 6 a.m. i'm sure that i would've felt better if i had been able to sleep more but for some reason i just couldn't.
my usual method of curing the cold is hourly ear rinsing with peroxide (did you know most cold germs come into your body via the ear canals? freaky. cleany your ears every day!!!) and then i take multiple steaming hot baths, blow my nose until it bleeds, swallow gallons of homeopathic medicines and sit by an open window. out of all of these, the heat and fresh air of the outdoors seem to do the trick to clear me up- so today i spent about two hot, sweaty, skin burning, ice water guzzling hours just baking under the south florida sun (trying to rid myself of the cold and tan my almost six pack) on a towel in my neighbor's back yard.
although i may have been temporarily cured of the common cold, i have NOT in fact been cured of today's embarrassment.

so i was sunbathing out in the grass, minding my own business (it is important to note that i was wearing hardly any clothing. in fact, the amout of clothing i was wearing is probably not something you'd ever want a group of peers to see you in, as it was less than the amount of sunscreen i was wearing) when who should run into the yard but my friends Gabe, Lexii, and Paula (and Paula's very nice LSD camera.. but the type of camera is kind of irrevelant as it was still a working camera). said friends decided to pull out said camera and begin shooting various snapshots of me rolled up in my towel (i had about one second to cover myself once i heard their footsteps, before they saw me wearing hardly any clothing) with my hair frizzy and full of suncreen, my face white with too much suncreen (because i burn easily), and overall looking like i must've been naked under the towel.... and they all asked if i was. maybe if i had said yes, they would've left me alone with my flushed cheeks and misery.
so i had to slowly put all my clothing bac on as they headed toward my house, fix up my oily sunscreen hair, and walk inside with some dignity; and at this point, they had already left.

Georgia Pecans
so today's blog is about, yes, georgia pecans. lol.
my neighbor just went (i'm majorly jealous she didn't bring me. i love georgia) and brought us back a shitload of uncracked pecan shells with the best pecans ever inside them.
there was the time i ate too many pecans and got hives, but i'm seriously hoping i've grown out of that stage because it was two years ago.
the reason why i'm boring you to tears with talk of georgian nuts and hives is because today has been a fairly boring and uneventful day; even the kids at work were bummed out and silent. hmm. must be all the rain we're having, it's making everyone all apathetic and uninspired.
so i guess i should make everyone feel better with a funny picture.....

Just a beginning?
So let me introduce myself--
my name is Hannah..... obviously. i live in an excrutiatingly small town in rainy Florida.
My blog name comes from an Oh, Atoms song named Sugar Mouse, which is a british band i've recently begun to enjoy (my great taste in music from england may be partially due to my largely british family)
Some random facts about me:
1) I love all kinds of british musical artists and groups (including but not limited to Mcfly, Busted, Sting, The Beatles, The Wings, The Monkeys, Ace Of Base, Oasis, The Stiff Dylans, and many many more)
2) I am 100% nerdfighter. and if you don't know what that means, please use the nerdfighters' preferred method of research by checking Google or Urbandictionary.com
3) My life is mostly a mix of Harry Potter, Nerdfighteria, homework, friends, bbyo, and the usual amount of painfully confusing boys
4) i may use "big" words sometimes, but i am always confused on the inside.
5) I am a minor grammar and spelling snob
6) i think stop motion is awesome and i partake in creating pointless videos involving legos, dominoes, and dolls to make stupid soap operas.
7) my favorite TV shows are Psych, Doctor Who, Pushing Daisies, Scrubs, House, Torchwood, and of course Free Radio
8) I never stop making lists, which should be obvious right about now
9) i probably laugh more than i should
10) this feels unnatural because thanks to John and Hank Green, i am a vlogger by habit.
alright everyone, time to turn off your laptops and go to bed- some of us have to go to community service hell at our synagogues tomorrow! (i may love little kids but sometimes there IS such a thing as too much childish fun)
